We all experience moments of anxiety from time to time, whether it is sitting an exam, a driving test, going for an interview or starting a new job. For most people, these feelings of anxiety are short-lived; they come and go.
However, for some people this anxiety may not go away and may even worsen over time.
When you feel anxious, your body goes on high alert, looking for possible danger and activating your fight or flight responses. As a result, some common symptoms of anxiety include:
Massage therapy has also been shown to work in reducing the symptoms of anxiety. While anxiety activates the body's fight or flight response, massage activates the body's relaxation response. Through therapeutic strokes massage works to calm the nervous system - helping to bring the body back in to balance and reducing anxiety. Massage therapy is one option for reducing the physical symptoms that are associated with anxiety. One recent study looked at the effects of massage therapy on the vital signs and anxiety in healthy women. In this study, massage therapy was successful in significantly reducing pulse, respiratory rate, and systolic blood pressure.

Eyebrows can be enhanced beautifully or totally reconstructed - depending on your needs. Once measured with a unique measuring tool, your face shape, hair colour, skin, age and personality all play a part in the bespoke brow you are given.
NO Microblading tool is even opened until you are 100% happy with the shape .
Here are some frequently asked questions regarding microblading:
How is microblading done?
Microblading of the eyebrows is done using a unique hand tool to deliver realistic looking hair strokes that mimic brow hair, by carving a curved stroke in the skin and filling it with medical grade pigment. It is then left to heal x 4 weeks. The entire
process is repeated 4-8 weeks later to render it semi permanent. A perfecting appointment is scheduled 4 weeks later again - this is a complimentary appointment.
Does it hurt?
Yes, it might hurt a little - this can depend on the person. The therapist will apply a numbing cream to begin with to minimise any pain. As a medical professional Olive has the extra edge on the biology of skin, healing and end results, and has full knowledge on skin pain management and infection control.
Will I end up with black eyebrows!?
No, the pigment is carefully chosen to suit your skin type.
