Meditation 

 ​Meditation is the practice of sitting in stillness and being present.
It's the practice of focus, flow, letting go and freedom.

Based on the teachings of Deepak Chopra. Each meditation class is in the format of Topic Discussion, followed by a 20min Meditation. Where we will drop into a meditation which will take us from activity to silence. Meditation is done in an upright, seated position (no lying down). We will take a journey to connect with our true selves, the ' I ' within all of us.

To support this in each meditation we use a Mantra, which we repeat silently. The word Mantra is a Sanskrit word which when broken down: Man - Mind. Tra- Intrument. Thus a Mantra is an instrument of the mind, which takes us from activity into silence. 

Meditation gives you the opportunity to just 'be'. To remember that in your essence you are a human being rather than a human doing. By taking the inward journey during meditation, the mind settles down and you will experience a deep state of rest. Rest is how the body naturally heals itself. In this state of rest the body throws off what it no longer needs such as stress, fatigue and toxins..
